Family: My wife Emily and I met at the University of Iowa in 1997, and married in 2003. She is amazing and I am so lucky to be her husband! Our son Ilan was born in 2009 and daughter Sivan was born in 2013. They are truly our joys.

Play: Flying and kiteboarding are my two passionate pursuits. I am an instrument rated private pilot and I fly with the North Shore Aeroclub in our Cessna 182R, 172R and Piper Archers.
As a volunteer pilot for the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary, I get to fly all kinds of cool planes when we go on missions. Whenever the opportunity presents itself to fly something new and different, I jump at the chance!
Kiteboarding has been a passion of mine since 2006, and I enjoy sailing of all types.
